Doooooom. This isn't finished. It was done 100% on the computer and was going to be for my sister's card, but I scrapped the idea for the big brother thing.
A comic character. This one is Maddy, an insane fangirl. She's based on my sister. Sort of.
It's uncanny. When we were very little, my siblings and I played a game called Morphers, about kids who could travel through time and space and had magic powers. I did a comic about it; my first comic series ever actually. Madeleine's character, a chipper young blonde with control over magical flowers, was called Maddy.
Later, we had an idea for a story about space pirates (see Tim's card, page... uh, 13 I think). There was a chirpyblonde character who had a flower motif in it, based on my sister. Her name was Maddy.
In my GCSE years I wrote a Lord of the Rings fan-comic with a friend. In one strip, a young fan-girly maiden can be seen dancing in the background, flowers adorning her long blonde locks. She didn't have a name, but there was a tiny letter M on her dress. Suspicious...
All of these stories have been banished to the story-graveyard, but Maddy, like an irritating rash, continues to invade my stories. Now she is in Raptorical, my latest comic (though doesn't actually appear until quite late in the series). It's like she refuses to die.
One day I might write a story about that. About a character who realises that the book she is a character in is never going to be finished, so escapes the story and invades another one. Humm, I think i'll call her Maddy... no wait... AAAAAARRGH!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
